Don’t be afraid to BLOW EVERYTHING UP!
And when I say blow it up…I mean BLOW…IT…UP!
The Facebook groups that you’re a part of that don’t align with you LEAVE ‘EM.
The personal groups you are members of that don’t fit into your big picture anymore…BOUNCE.
The Zoom meetings with people you don’t like, and discussions about topics you’re not interested in…CANCEL THEM.
The people vying for your time that are time suckers, that don’t offer value and that only want to ask you questions about stuff that isn’t growth oriented…TELL EM TO SEND YOU AN EMAIL.
EVEN THE MEETINGS WITH PEOPLE YOU LOVE, where you fully support those people and how they show up in the world BUT the event, group or engagement doesn’t fit your big vision…tell them you LOVE them…AND THEN LEAVE!
Your ENERGY is your most vital asset on this planet!
Anything that is NOT in alignment with your big vision, even with people you love MUST GO.
Something must END so something else more important to you can BEGIN.
However, You can only cancel things that don’t align with you WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT ALIGNS.
You can only remove yourself from groups that don’t fit
WHEN YOU KNOW THE GROUPS THAT FIT.
You can only remove people from your life WHEN YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE.
You NEED to know what aligns for you.
To know what aligns for YOU, you need to have a BIG VISION of your life and your future.
One of the first things I ask my friends before we get into ANYTHING business or personal is “What kind of lifestyle do you want to create?”
Whether you are the CEO of a mega company or an aspiring entrepreneur, the first thing I teach is that you need to build your business around your lifestyle. DO NOT build your lifestyle around your business!
Do not work 12 hour days and fit in time for family & friends.
Prioritize time for your self, family & friends then plan your work around those aspects of your day. You can incrementally increase time for those areas of your life as your reach business objectives however you need to create this time intentionally FIRST.
Figure out the way you want to spend your energy, day and life THEN fight for that vision of your life in your work. most people think they want money…because it’s money, WRONG.
You want money because it’s going help you live the life you want to create.
Be merciless with how you protect/spend your energy because anything fighting for your time energy doesn’t align MUST GO!!!
If you don’t have a business and you have a career SAME THING…yes, you work a job AND you still need an idea of how you want to use your energy (at work and home), the way you want to live your life (i.e. lifestyle) and how you want to spend your time.
Repeat, if it’s not in alignment…BLOW IT UP and rebuild your life the way you want to live the life you design. Get rid of the schedule, the calls EVERYTHING, then reassemble the things that matter around the life you want to live.
So In Conclusion…
-KNOW WHAT ALIGNS
-CREATE A BIG VISION FOR YOUR LIFE
-BLOW UP ANYTHING OUT OF ALIGNMENT
-BUILD EVERYTHING AROUND THAT VISION
